A Trip to the Brewery
First things first, each visit to Chandeleur Island Brewing starts with trying some delicious beer that is made right on site. As a matter of fact, you can take a peek into their brewing room, where you can see their team hard at work making the beer that you see pouring from their draft lines.
You can even join one of their brewery tours and learn more about the process of making beer. This will let you see what it takes to turn barley, hops, water, and yeast together into those delicious IPAs, Pilsners, Sours, and more that you’ll enjoy with your friends in the taproom!

As for the beer itself, there are a range of options you can choose from on their draft list. While they are always updating their selection and adding new, taproom-exclusive creations, they have a range of year-round beers you will find, too, like:
- Lil’ Miss Sour: Enjoy this refreshingly tart beer that is made with wheat and tangerines.
- Lil’ Smack: This IPA bursts with tropical and citrus flavors sip after sip.
As for those rotating beers, you may find choices like their Oatmeal Raisin Cookie brown ale or their Total Clarity hazy IPA.

A Part of the Community
Chandeleur Island Brewing Company also has deep roots to the local community. Not only are the founders born and raised in the area, but the name itself comes from one of their favorite places–the chain of islands off the coast of Mississippi.
That is also why they do their part to help with the cause of conservation. They created special beers like their Kemp’s Conservator Munich Dunkel and Oceanic White Tip Wit a part of the series called Consume for Conservation.
They then have taken a portion of the proceeds from these beers to support the Mississippi Aquarium’s conservation efforts. They’ve also collaborated with the Coastal Conservation Association to help support local tarpon migration research. These are just some of the ways Chandeleur Island Brewing helps give back to the community they proudly call home!
